What is Traditional Hatha Yoga?
Hatha Yoga is often used as an umbrella term describing the many styles and disciplines of yoga commonly practiced in the Western Hemisphere. These can range from Ashtanga Yoga and Power Vinyasa Yoga to Iyengar Yoga and others.
Traditional Hatha Yoga, though, holds the place of being the origin of all these styles. Originating in India more than 2000 years ago, this practice positively enhances one’s physical and mental well-being. This is done through a series of physical movements and poses (asanas) designed to draw upon a deeper introspection and healing. It’s intention is to move you toward an enriched mind, body, and soul.
